Today I went to the Capital and watched Gov. Perry deliver his State of State Address.  With my bright and early arrival, I was able to score a seat in the front row.
Above you can see the standing ovation Perry received as he entered the room. He got warm a big Texas [...]

I went to the Price Is Right!

By Molly Greaves

I went to the Price is Right in LA on Monday, and it’s airing this Friday! I’m in the 4th row to the left of the last bidder. It’s going to be a great show too…one girl passes out on her face, one wins 26k on the wheel, the showcase, etc. Funny too.

Early Voting–DONE!

By Molly Greaves

So I put 8, yes that’s right, 8 quarters in the meter today so I wouldn’t feel rushed when I was voting. Who woulda known that I would have been in and out within 20 minutes, getting directions on how to use the voting machine thing and all? Not me or I would [...]

Austin City Limits Pictures…2008

By Molly Greaves

I only had my iPhone  on me to take pictures with, so sorry for any issues.

I couldn’t believe people were actually wearing white to the festival. Yellow wasn’t much better. Duh!
This was a 3 day festival and my friends were in from Vermont for all 3 days. It was a blast.

I made someone’s blog…

By Molly Greaves
Like every other live music fan in Austin, I love live music, and particularly love Austin City Limits. Last year,  I was a bone-head and accidentally booked a trip to Costa Rica right through the festival dates, so I was so  happy to have it as my main September event this year.

As usual, [...]

Austin City Limits Festival and then to HAMILTON POOL…

By Molly Greaves
Hamilton Pool is not a pool. I think it catches a lot of slack for that. It is part of the Texas State Park system, and in my opinion, is like a diamond in the rough.
After hiking a mere quarter mile or so, you come to this sunny opening with a random white-sand [...]

Pictures from VERMONT, NEW HAMPSHIRE & MAINE!

By Molly Greaves

Every October I make the trek from Texas to Vermont to visit my family. I was fortunate enough to catch the tail end of the foliage, which is always a beautiful thing to be able to experience. The leaves had just peaked as I had arrived since it’s already starting to get chilly [...]

I’ve recently joined an investing group in Austin that meets monthly at the Alamo Drafthouse off of W Anderson Mill.
It’s 25 bucks. It’s always 25 bucks although they are exploring some type of membership fee instead. Hall Martin runs the group and so far I think it’s brilliant.
Below is info on [...]

Twin Cities Marathon, The Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America

By Molly Greaves
“Twin Cities Marathon, The Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America,” at least according to http://www.mtcmarathon.org/, where I went to learn more about the marathon that I’m going to in a few weeks.
Boy oh boy am I looking forward to getting up to Minnesota. I’m from Vermont originally, been living in Texas for about [...]

I recently started selling the SPIbelt for a local woman/inventor named Kim (whose abs are above!) here in Austin, Tx. Although the Small Personal Item Belt, hence SPIbelt, can serve a purpose for just about everyone, twice a month I’ll travel out of town and go [...]
